Kept my hubbie busy so can’t be bad!!
Hubbie seems happy and went to work on his car pronto with no complaints so that’s a thumbs up from me :)

Not low temperature melt point
No melt temperature given. Too close to brass tube melt temperature so pinholing. Would recommend silver solder as low temperature option. Braizes steel ok.

You need to buy flux.
These rods look good (bright, shiney, nicely packaged) but there isn't the slightest hint of any flux like behaviour when using these rods. I cleaned both pieces I was attempting to join together and heated them to a temperature at which the rod melted on contact and the rod material just balled up and didn't show any wetting or flowing at all. When I get time I'll try again but with the addition of some Johnson Matthey Easy Flow flux.

Lowest braising temperature
melting and tinning temperature are as stated 440 - 500 C

Didn't use for brazing but perfect for what I needed them for.

States this is fluxed brazing rod in the description. ITS NOT, it's just some very sort lengths of bronze rod, rubbish.

Never again, wasn’t worth it, trying to soldered to brass links together wouldn’t work
