For anybody having n Samsung Galaxy Note series 8 and above and want to view the movie contents on a big TV, this small gadget is a very useful tool.So, let me share my experience after using it for nearly a month now, in PRO & CON format, as usual.First, CONs:1. If you expect out to work like a Dex Station, you'll get disappointed, because Dex app is not supported in this. I am using Samsung Note 8. It just mirrors the mobile screen and full Dex mode is not available in this.2. Frequent disconnections. Yes. It frequently disconnects for no reason.3. Gets overheated when you connect even your original Samsung Type C charger.4. When you connect it to TV, call cannot be attended using a headphone, because Dex mode don't allow call connectivity. So, you have to either disconnect or use the speaker in the phone to attend your call on Dex mode.Now, PROs:1. Without the need for costly Google chrome cast you can simply mirror your Samsung Note to your TV using the HDMI port.2. You don't even need a separate power connection for this. Only if you need to charge your Note, you have to attach the charger. Otherwise, no need.3. You don't need any internet connection or WiFi for mirroring to TV. It's as easy as connecting a headphone to your Note.4. Using the USB port, you can connect either a wireless remote/keyboard or even a weird set using USB hub. I have tried both. And i tried Air Mouse also. All working very well. Air mouse is a breeze to use.5. Cost: Very reasonable price compared to the other even lowest featured models. So, i can say it's VFM.If you have Note 8 series and above and want to use Miracast without a separate dongle or wifi this is the best.Strongly recommend.

Apparently there there is known issue that the some low quality adaptor creates wifi connection issues in when macbook pro is connected to two monitors,i order two pair of this adaptor and i am having problem connecting to my wifi, the moment i disconnect monitors the wifi start working again.Also at my office i have been using apple authentic adapter for year n half and i never had connectivity issues while using two monitors, it is only when i was setting it up at home i used this instead of apple's adaptor and they started creating problem.My suggestion is go for apple adaptor rather than wait and see if its work for you or not, it is a known issue so you can also search.

received the new version of this product from PiBOX. It's a compact unit which can be easily slipped into a pocket, and looks smart enough to go with a Mac or a premium laptop.I plugged it in to my laptop and had no problems getting it to work immediately, watching a video on a big screen over the HDMI port, playing from a portable hard disk plugged into the USB3 'A' port while charging my laptop with a USB-PD charger plugged into the 'C' port.A handy and lightweight addition to your kit, especially with the new generation devices that come with only USB-C ports.

For a IT professional like me these kind of gadgets increase my work productivity and minimize PC connectivity hassles.My Usages:Mainly for extending displays.Test 1: Laptop Dell Latitude 5480 - Has Type C port with D symbol: Able to mirror displays. Not able to charge the laptop using OnePlus 7 Dash charger (5V output)Test 2: Laptop HP 14 S - Has Type C port with USB symbol: This HUB is not working for this laptop.Test 3: Desktop PC: Has Type C port with D symbol: Able to mirror displays.Test 4: Mobile - OnePlus 7 - Able mirror screen, attach keyboard and mice. Can charge but in normal mode even though it is rapid charger.

Have been using this for a day and boy! this adapter is a champion.Cable length is 10 inches, sufficient enough to hold the device comfortably. It is indeed a 4K resolution output and also charges my phone(even though have connected to dash charge adapter, charging happens very slowly. Also dash charge icon won't appear and shows as normal charging). Connected my wireless mouse using the USB A port(keyboard works too I believe, but haven't tried).All applications works with no issues, even YouTube and Prime videos stream.DTH app will not stream live telecast, in fact Tata Sky app won't play movies as well. Well this is not an issue with adapter, just writing for others to know before buying that live streaming apps might detect the adapter as screen mirroring and will not work.Overall I am happy with the purchase.

First of all, this is to all oneplus 7t user. This product is perfect for you. It works really good but has charging issue. Audio is supported through HDMI. I'm a PubG player. Perfect for me. For pubg player, mic is not supported. You need to either connect a seperate headphone to headphone jack or if no headphone jack then bluetooth connectivity. It gets bit warm which is negligible. This works without or with charger. Difference is while charger is connected, battery doesn't drain.
