Great lead, better than expected. Purchased for my 30kg old english bulldog who is VERY excitable and tends to launch herself and at anyone nearby. We walk her through public pathways on farm fields mainly so wanted to keep her under control while having freedom to roam and sniff etc.I had concerns this may not be strong enough for my chonky dog pulling but it has held up very well for a smaller, thin leash. The grip is comfortable with plenty of space, I will often loop a poop bag through the bottom. I have dropped this on concrete a couple of times and the dog has pulled it around and the finish and colour have held up well with minimal scratches or marks.Functionality wise, the 5m leash is a good length. You can lock this off pushing the button or locking it with the slider. When the dog pulls it will auto lock as well which releases when there is some slack - this can be a little tricky to release at times if the dog suddenly pulls again but you get used to it.The entry to the handle where the leash comes in and out doesn't tangle or roll the strapping - the shape to prevent this works very well. There is a spring loaded metal clip to attach to the dog harness, pretty standard. This has got wet several times now and still functions as expected.We wouldn't hesitate to buy another for whatever reason.

This is to replace a mislaid lead and I had no hesitation ordering the same lead as after 2yrs of daily work the lead is as good as it was when it came out if the box

Cord colour was not as advertised. This is a heavy duty lead which should last well, but probably not ideal for the old or frail. The two-part brake button mechanism takes a bit of getting used to and I worry that if my 35kg doodle suddenly sees or smells a fox and shoots off at great speed after it he'll be running at full speed by the time I manage to press the buttons correctly.

This is my second one of these , the last one lasted quite a few years then it started to fray but well worth buying again as it’s sturdy and strong! 😊

This lead is the best of the extenderbles it strong and lasts forever it the 2nd I’ve bought in 9 years . The last one is still going strong. But bought a new harness and bought new lead

Works well let's hope the dog doesn't chew through the lead, as he did with the others.

This was a really good lead and easy to extend and retract then suddenly it would not retract. I have a small dog so not a lot of tension on the lead when walking her. Bit disappointed.

On my first use the dog pulled this out of my hand and it went skittering across the pavement, narrowly missing a badly cleaned up pile of dog poo. PHEW!!! It had a few scratches but survived otherwise unscathed. Since then it has been a godsend, the dog can happily sniff sniff sniff every patch of grass/ wall around without having to pull my arm off. The action is smooth and it locks into position very easily. I also enjoy have deploying the button to get a pleasing clicking sound under my thumb as the lead extends. The dog inevitably runs around people's legs but so far no leg burns so another bonus there then!
