I've wanted to dive into using a weighted vest for running for a while, but I'm a fairly slender build, and most "combat-style" vests just don't fit right. (I'm in the military too, so I've dealt with poorly fitted gear more often than not. Running in a Flak that is too big for you is an exercise in frustration - it bounces everywhere and restricts your movement.)This one tightens well, doesn't seem to loosen or bounce when I'm running, and is actually fairly comfortable - other than the obvious added weight I don't even really notice it. The pocket on the back is secure; I have an iPhone 11, so it's slightly bigger than the pocket when laid sideways, but I haven't had any issues with my phone bouncing around or falling out.

The media could not be loaded.  I love these vest! Originally I wanted an adjustable weighted one, but all the ones I could find, were too bulky and too expensive. I liked that these were my too big and in the way. Happy with the quality. Although with ab work it can be a little uncortable Bc laying on it, it’s the best. Adding these really gave me an extra burn! I bought the 8lb and 12lb but so far have only been using my 8lb for that last 4 weeks in my circuits. I eventually would like to get heavier ones to wear maybe doing house work or a hike 😂

The product should not be manufactured with elasticity around the shoulders. The elastic band causes the vest to bounce up and down while running and left scar on my chest from friction.

Wore this one time, not in the rain, not heavily sweating, and it stained the new white jacket beneath it. Very upset, can't get it out. Is it rust? It's not the color of the vest. It is on front, shoulders, and back where the vest sat. They refunded the cost of the vest but seller will not help replace the jacket. Amazon told me to talk to seller. So we are out the cost of this new jacket. Seems unfair to me that it would ruin other clothes but they won't help us out (they offer $10 to clean it- even a dry cleaner costs more than that!). Do not recommend. It is filled with some kind of iron - so maybe it got wet somewhere along the line and rusty and that is what came out of it onto the coat? Who knows.

I do a workout up and down a large hill and wanted a little extra challenge for building strength. I like that this vest has two straps across the chest. I tried another one on that had only one strap and felt that the strap was under stress and could eventually break. I have read in other reviews that the packing material can settle over time so just store it flat. I got the 12 pound vest and carry light dumb bells as well. Great workout!

20 pound vest, have done 5 miles with it so far. 1, 2, 2. Jogging. It is comfortable, and evenly distributed.Although some of the grains flow down like sand in an hour glass; it is really good.The elastic at the sides helps with fit.The double clip in front holds well.Did not have any color transfer to my shirt.Allows better airflow and comfort when compared to a traditional military style vest.The mesh packet in the back is not of any use to me.Also used for push-ups and air squats. Works well. Have not tried pull ups yet, but have no doubt it will be great.Recommended.
