Unfortunately no when you adjust the focus it’s for both eyes, but each eye does have adjustment further or closer to your eye.

which is better, 10x42 or 10x50? is there much noticeable difference in field of view?

I don't have both sizes so I can't answer specifically. I think you'll get a little better low light visibility with the 10x50 but it comes with more weight and is bulkier. Personal opinion is that the less weight and lower cost may make the 10x42 a better value, but that all depends on your application.
