I was looking at adapters for my vintage lenses, and there are so many people who recommended the more expensive brands. I wasn't sure how much i would actually use the lenses so I bought this and it works perfectly. So many camera people just like to flush money, assuming more expensive = higher quality. Unless you are buying the ones that can connect the camera electronics, these are a piece of metal. I don't understand someone who wants to spend $50 on a piece of metal that you can get it for $13.

Does what it’s supposed to do! Also it’s easy to adjust the screw ring to rotate your M42 lens is in the right position for reading the numbers (not necessary but convenient).

Everything seemed great about this- affordable, not tooo heavy, adjustable front mount so you can get your M42 lens oriented correctly- but it is too loose in the body mount for my taste. I get about a millimeter of rotation when pulling focus, which doesn't sound like much but is enough to make a fairly loud click and little jump in your footage, and obviously also makes focusing less accurate. Returned for a more expensive adapter and that one still has a tiny amount of play, but much much less, and is usable.

I'm using it to adapt a Helios to a Lumix camera. To me, it almost looks like I'm getting a light leak, but it might just be an internal reflection or seeing some of the chrome show through. Seems to work well enough though.

I lost my original lens cap. I ordered one from Amazon that had Olympus brand printed on the Lens Cap. This unit cost me about $8.00. Unfortunately, it was the wrong size. I read that the first generation Olympus lens was larger than the 2nd generation. I then ordered the Ezoto 37 mm with lens keeper. The lens cap fits perfectly and it is held securely in place with the lens keeper. I wish I had ordered this one first.
