Quite impressed with the quality of workmanship of this product.It is shiny steel and has a very good quality finish.The two cups for the eggs are really deep enough for the larger eggs such as double yolks, without spilling out into the pan below.The eggs cooked quite quickly which means the functionality of the metal is soundly conductive.The inside of the cups is layered with a non-stick lacquer and the vents in the glass lid are covered by metal ring inserts.All in all a value for money product that works well and delivers a decent result for cleanly boiled eggs.

I was surprised by the weight, sturdiness and substantial feel of the egg poacher when it arrived. Unlike many similar products, the cups the eggs are cooked in are not plastic, but non-stick coated metal. This greatly improves heat transfer from the water below, to cook the eggs quickly and thoroughly. Pleased with purchase. Poached eggs will be on the menu regularly now.

At last, a poacher that has metal egg holders. The ones with plastic/Bakelite ones do not work at all well. This one poaches eggs really well and evenly. Just one small grumble: the poaching handles get very hot and difficult to hold. The manufacturer should provide a small tool to hold them with. Otherwise, really good poached eggs.

A heavy duty poacher that is a joy to use and should last.Has deeper cups to suit large eggs than the standard/cheaper models.Am pleased I purchased.
