Japanese Type 99 Cleaning Rod Fits Japanese Type 99 Arisaka

The media could not be loaded. This is a perfect item for my nagoyen arsenal type 99 that uses the long cleaning rod. This item fits inside the cleaning rod holder and locks in and will not come out while firing the rifle unless you depress the the cleaning rod lock. No fine tuning was required at all for the World War Supplies cleaning rod unlike the IMA cleaning rod that I had to file down a LOT to fit and never engaged the lock fully. This cleaning rod will fit inside the housing of your type 99 rifle and still accept a bayonet. The quality is no surprise amazing as expected of WWS and matches the rifles bluing like it was always ment to be their. I would highly recommend this and any product from WWS as I have never had one singular problem with this companies product/staff, unlike International Military Arms there customer service laughs at their customers and products dont look/fit the item at all.TLDR- Buy this for your type 99 if your type 99 has a square button under the front barrel, WWS is better than IMA, this is a sturdy exact fit and beautiful cleaning rod.

It fits my 1942 Arisaka short rifle. It does not come with the parts to clean the rifle but makes the rifle look complete. Later I discover that there are other similar cleaning rods on-line for less money.
