I am not an easy to please consumer, and I usually only go out of my way to review something if it is superlative or terribly flawed. This cover,especially at its reasonable price,was a wonderful surprise as it exceeded my expectations by quite a lot. Had I known that it had all of the elements for which I was looking,I would have paid a great deal more. (That said,I hope that the price remains a bargain;-) )-It is lightweight (Why buy weight weight technology and add a heavy cover?)-It is a folio (I bring my Kindle EVERYWHERE and it is very convenient to have a few slots for appointment cards,dry cleaning slips).-All cut outs are perfectly aligned.-I can easily hold the Voyage one handed with Poetic's case.-The addition of an elastic makes the Kindle VERY secure.-Although the texture is soft,it is a hard, protective cover.I could not ask for more. Frankly,I think it is as good looking as the Limited Edition leather covers. (Although I doubt that it is leather,the materials have the look and feel of a higher priced cover).Really excellent engineering. I'm impressed.Update: I have used this daily since purchasing it some months ago, and it has been a pleasure to use. When I purchased it, the colors were more limited, and I like a bright cover (especially when I'm running out the door) in order to locate my Kindle with alacrity. Happily, I can now purchase a bright color, though I have trouble justifying a second cover as the first one looks brand new. Considering how many times I have dropped it or washed off coffee or tea drips, it is remarkably durable (and, has protected my Kindle from any damage). I guess that I will have to justify a second cover purchase with the pricing; still incredibly reasonable given it suits me perfectly right down to the folio cover which carries a few business cards and the odd dry cleaning slip.With the cover on, I can fit this in my raincoat pocket or slip in in my smaller handbags. I remain as impressed with this cover as I was when I first bought it!

-Nice looking, affordable faux leather Kindle Voyage case- shuts off Kindle when case is closed, starts it up when opened.Case feels good in the hand.-Elastic band keeps it shut when not in use. Case makes reader MUCH MORE grippable and MUCH LESS likely to be dropped. Two caveats: -view of charger lightis hidden but can still be seen by tilting the reader and looking to right along bottom edge of Kindle. Its a non-issue for me. Case also covers Kindle's light sensor, disabling screen auto-brightness. I don't use that feature as onscreen adjustment is easy but some users value it. I would toggle it on if case allowed its use.Summing up- its attractive, inexpensive, durable, protective andhas billfold features inside the front cover- a good choice for the way I use the Voyage. Some prefer origami covers for their ability to stand the reader up in both portrait as well as landscape orientation.-Does this stand like some cases? Just sort-of of in landscape mode (will slip down when cover is folded back A-frame style) and hardly at all in portrait mode- very unsteady at best.If you grip your Voyage or lay it down to read then this is a great choice, handsome (dresses up Kindle), protective, durable and affordable.

Overall a very nice case, great feel and look. Case does block the charging light somewhat, but not enough to mark down the product. I love the pockets on the inside cover flap, allows me to keep a credit/debit card at hand, tuck away a note or some currency. Nice and sturdy, does not have a cheap feel, even though it is priced very attractively.I just spent 10 days in Cancun with it and it proved useful for keeping a room key secure while at pool or at other activities where I did not wish to carry a wallet. I am very happy with this case for my Voyage. I initially had an origami cover but I did not like it at all. I did not like the look or feel of the origami cover.Also, the origami cover is too over priced. I am sorry that I bought it. I am glad I found this cover and it was a much better price. Wish I had found it at the time I purchased my Voyage.I had a hard time charging my Voyage in the origami case. The charging plug would not fit in securely into my Kindle. I do not have this problem with this case. My Kindle fits securely into the case and it is easy to remove my Kindle from it if I choose.If you prefer a book style cover for your Kindle, then this is the cover for you.

I ordered another cover that cost twice as much when I ordered the Kindle . It was a piece of junk and I sent it back. I was not crazy about the Origami cover that Amazon sells as the official Kindle Voyage cover so I kept looking. I found this cover and took a chance. I ordered the brown leather color because it's for my mom and I thought she would like it better than the purple I liked. The cover looks very nice. It is far nicer than I expected for the price. My mom loves it. I also was happy to see it has the wake up ability mentioned earlier. It is not in the description but when the cover is opened, it wakes the Kindle. If I ordered a Voyage for myself, I would order another one of these covers with full confidence it was well worth the money.
