I bought this for our new kitchen and it looks really nice. It’s easy to use, just press the lid and it pops open. Good stability and easy to remove the rubbish bag. Our last Brabantia bin is still going strong 16 years later and I think this one will match that.

Having had a Brabantia bin for many years this was our first choice for a replacement when the catch finally broke on the original. There was nothing wrong with the rest of the bin, and a family member is going to use it for storage, but something had obviously broken off the locking area and a replacement fitting wouldn't work. The catch on the new one is infinitely superior in design and operartion and the quality of the bin is as good as ever and we can see no reason why it won't last as long as our earlier model.

Excellent bin, expensive but bought on offer

These bins are quite expensive! So it was great to be able to get it on sale price. I had my previous brabantia bins for over 10 years. So was looking forward to (new home new bin). It is just a waste bin but looks really nice colour, the only thing that lets it down was “NO METAL HANDLE” to take the bag out!! Which was shown in the video.

I am never disappointed with brabantia. It lasts and is good quality and my old bin had to go because the plastic mechanism in the closing flap broke but for that it could serve couple of more years.This one is slightly shorter which I was not initially happy with but I got use to. However, I liked the new shape of the lid, the fact that there is not metal handles on it and the bin is also a bit wider.Overall, 5 stars.

70 litre capacity so it should take all the non-recyclable kitchen type rubbish of the average family for quite a few days.Easy to empty and the silver finish looks really good.

Good quality kitchen bin with flip top lid, had my previous Branantia bin for 17 years so it is very hard wearing & durable. Would definitely recommend.

I’m so very fed up with products being poor quality. I chose this bin because I’ve had this particular brand before but when I moved out recently , I left it behind.So I ordered this one. Brabantia used to make quality products and are not cheap. Whilst this bin looks good with a lovely black Matt finish, the lid doesn’t stay closed. You have to keep pushing this one until it eventually does and there are times it just won’t close so I have given up on it and put something heavy on it to keep it shut. Otherwise you have very unpleasant smells lingering in the kitchen. Very disappointed especially when considering the cost of these products.

already had a brabanita attempted to choose second on line. too small fills quickly and bags are pricy but worth it.

I searched for so long, on many websites, for the perfect trash bin. I wanted something modern that fit with my mid century modern home. Years Ive searched! I am so proud of this trash can. It’s a great size, the tight lid keeps the trash smell isolated and it’s so stylish! Totally obsessed. I don’t even know if this is considered expensive for a trash bin but it’s worth it.

It’s perfect! Looks great, big enough, easy open/close, very well made! I will never by another kind, Baranita are the best trash cans I’ve seen to date
