Guidecraft Wood Hand-Painted Farm Friends Book Display - Themed Sling Bookshelf, Kids Furniture Book Rack

It's cute, but based on reviews and the retail price, I expected a very high quality piece. It's sturdy and went together easily enough, but the paint job is very poor...very light in some places and heavy/thick in other places. Also the canvas had a pretty strong smell at first (the wood pieces did not) so I let it air out quite a bit. As others have stated, do be careful of the dimensions and the fact that the pockets are all the same height as the front one so you're not getting more depth to put the books in as I had originally expected on some of the rows. If you can grab it on sale for your young ones, it's a decent enough deal, but I definitely wouldn't pay full price for it.

This bookcase is precious, and very easy to set up! However it doesn't hold as many books as I thought it would, and like some other reviews on here the taller books don't fit really well. Depending on how you put the books in each row it does lean forward. All in all the bookcase is very cute and I am satisfied with my purchase!

I received this bookshelf within a few days, which was great; however, there were missing screws so I had to get my own. Also, it is a lot smaller than I had anticipated, but it's still adorable. Holds quite a bit of books and is very cute. Again, my only complaint is the size. I think that for the $, it should be bigger. My daughter is only 3 so it's ok for her, but if you have older/taller children, I suggest searching around for a taller bookshelf.

A little annoying to put together. Takes 2 people. Books don't stand up very straight in it. They tend to fall forward. However it's very cute and my toddler loves it. Easy for him to see all his books and take them in and out.

We ordered the product on Friday and it arrived the next day! Very easy to put together. That being said the product is VERY small, height and width and does not look durable. My daughter is two and a half so I hope she gets a year out of it. Walmart sells a similar product for $20 cheaper but thought that this one would be bigger or at least nicer looking. Not worth the money, but as I said very easy to put together.

I bought this for my grand daughter and she loves it. the unit was easy to assemble but there was a knot in one of the round cross members that broke the screw off. Fortunately I am pretty good with tools and was able to drill a new hole and complete the installation. This shelf holds a lot of books and they are easy to find in this book display.

This is a good buy. I bought it as a gift for my nephew and he really liked it. His books are neatly stacks and the design is perfect for his age. The dimensions are what I expected and the quality is very good. My sister has three toddler/preschool-age boys but it's still intact since December unlike some of their other pieces.

This is super cute but very small. I think it will serve it's purpose though.

Lovely pictures down the side and delivery sooner than expected. Was really pleased until putting it together when 2 out of the 8 screws holding the canvas batons in place sheared off while being tightened. No way of getting the screws out now and not sure how strong the shelves are going to be. Remaining screws have all been left protruding slightly to avoid snapping them too. Screws need to be better quality as everything else on the product is well made.

It's cute, but was a bit difficult to put together by myself. Perfect size for infant - toddler books.

this book display for kids books looks very sweet and is easy to handle. unfortunately it does not offer much space for books. thick or big books easily bend over and fall out. hence I would not buy it again.

It does the job, albeit a lot smaller than we thought. For the price of the item I would have expected better quality. I managed to break 3 screws will trying to assemble. This was by hand (no power tools used).Overall disappointed with the product and quality for the price we paid.
