Recommendable lock
I bought this lock because I did not want to have to worry about a key and I needed a long neck and this has worked as promised. I have had two of these on my gates for around a year with no malfunctions. I am in So. Cal. and have had no problems with it getting stuck. I did not give it 5 stars because I cannot mix up the combination (to disguise it) while the lock is in the open position.

Don't mess around, keep your property secure with a Squire
I was recently gifted a CP50S/2.5 from Noel and Nigel and this lock is a beast! Its tough and the online video to set the combo is easy to follow. My old lock from the other guys was begining to rust out and living in Idaho where one can experience all the seasons in one day, my gate needs a lock that can withstand the elements and keep unwanted guests out of my backyard. Well done Squire and thank you Nigel and Noel .

This lock was great at first. I loved the size of the numbers, very easy to see. But after just a couple of uses it got stuck and will now not open. Thankfully, it was not in use when it got stuck - I tried to put it back on a gate and it wouldn't open. Sitting in a drawer now . I keep going back to it to try to make it work, but to no avail. Eventually it will sadly find it's way to a landfill.
