Go to a Coax enabled room, plug the coax coming out of the wall into the left port the Hitron device, this will enable the device to also have ethernet. Plug an ethernet cable from the Hitron device to an ethernet ready device like a PS5 or PC. Was dealing with Wi-Fi speed issues in certain areas of the house due to wireless backhaul even with the Mesh network. Had some doubts about the MoCA adapters while purchasing.Based on the coax cabling in my house, these were truly plug and play. Connected the first adapter to the coax cable coming into the house and with the modem (did not need a splitter due to this particular model), connected a CAT6 cable to the router. In another room, connected the second adapter with the coax cable coming from the wall and the two adapters paired themselves. The ethernet port on second adapters can be used to connect to an Access Point or satellite Mesh device.I am getting a stable 950 MBPS+ on all my wired connections. Very happy with the purchase and highly recommend this product !

Incredible difference from the Wi-Fi router. Went from below 30 bps to over 700 bps. The Wi-Fi router is on the first floor directly under the bedroom that has a desktop computer. We did a speed test and the upload and download speeds were below 30 bps using the Wi-Fi. The outlet downstairs is set up for CAT5 and coax. I have my router plugged directly into my work laptop using CAT 5 and the speed is 149 and 190. When I set the Hitron Bonded MoCA 2.5 adapter downstairs and upstairs connecting directly to the coax outlet it took the speed from below 30bps to over 700 bps. I am not kidding. This is simply amazing. All I had to do was connect the coax cable that came with the product to the product and the outlet then connect the cat 5 from the product to my desktop, finally the power plug to the wall. The same thing downstairs, connect directly to outlet and then cat 5 to router. no syncing, no button to push, nothing except plug in and do the speed test. Absolutely amazing.I actually ordered a different product that was supposed to be shipped the next day but was delayed 3 days, so I ordered this product, and it came the very next day. I am so happy.

I decided to return 2 Xfinity cable boxes and just stream using the Xfinity app. Rather than use WiFi I went with these adapters to use the existing coaxial jacks and have an Ethernet connection. The Xfinity router has MoCA already enabled. I also purchased a new splitter that supports MoCA and a filter installed on the input of the splitter. I will save 36 dollars a month not using the old cable boxes and have stable wired connection to 2 TVs. Overall pleased with this his purchase.
