Loved this little Cooker In 9 minutes my hard boiled eggs were done to perfection. I didn’t have to watch the water boil or make sure it didn’t boil over on the stove top. Using the cooker was easy and none of my eggs cracked during the process. It’s small so I can easily store it away between uses. Today I made poached eggs and they turned out nice as well. When I use my microwave poacher I am always having to watch so the lid does not pop off or the eggs pop out through the lid. The only drawback is that the lines on the measuring cup are difficult to read. This little poacher/hard boiler will get used several times a week. With my new diet plan I will be able to easily and quickly poach my eggs each morning.

Really great for fixing eggs the way I like them

I was shopping for Easter goodies and happened to see the Bella Stainless Egg Cooker. On a impulse I purchased, thinking of boiling Eggs for Coloring the next day. I was pleasantly surprised! It is a cute compact cooker with big results. Easy directions and several egg preparation options. I started with boiling—7 at a time, takes the usual 12 minutes to cook, but has this AMAZING gadget on the bottom of the water measuring cup. DONT MISS IT! by making a very tiny hole in the top of the egg with the piercing pin—you avoid those “cracked” boiled eggs the kids don’t want to color! It WORKED! Not a one cracked in 2 dozen eggs boiled. So the only advice I would definitely offer....When eggs are done- the on/off light goes out and you hear a very subtle click sound. I wish there was a more audible sound, as you do need to unplug at this time to avoid over cooking. Also tried poached eggs— awesome! So easy. Cleanup very easy as well. So thumbs up on the Bella Egg cooker! I would recommend—price good, good quality for all the “Egg-tastic” egg cooking options!

This is a good egg poacher at a very reasonable price. Update: After two months of light use, the plastic knob on the egg tray broke. Update: After contacting the seller twice for a replacement part, I have not received the part or had any communication from the seller.

I highly recommend AGAINST buying this egg cooker. The issue I've had is mentioned in other complaints - after cooking eggs, the unit may randomly turn on, including when the lid is off.After hard boiling 3-4 eggs and with the indicator light off, I lifted the lid and a few drops of water condensation fell onto the hot plate. Within 30 seconds, the indicator turned back on and the unit started radiating heat. This presents a burn risk (one could touch the now-on plate and get burned, especially if the egg tray is removed) or worse, a fire risk.Once eggs are cooked & the unit shuts itself off, I expect the unit to stay OFF! If it's some sort of "keep warm" feature, there's no point in that for hard-boiled eggs. Therefore, this item is DANGEROUS as it could result in burns or fires, and should be recalled.I'm filing a complaint with the CPSC, and I suggest others do the same...

I get that some people might think this is not a necessary appliance, but let me tell you, it is!! If you are an boiled egg eater or even just a poached egg fan, it's hard to get it right - but with the Bella egg cooker, it's a walk in the park. As a busy mom, it's ridiculously easy to get distracted while making eggs and having them overcooked. The super easy settings makes it goof proof even when a kid is having a meltdown and on top of that, no more pans to clean -just throw the non stick trays in the dishwasher. This WILL change your life for the better ;)

Had three different poached egg makers and the only one that worked. haven't tried the egg cooker function ,but have enjoyed perfect poached eggs in usually 8 minutes. Only thing is to coat the egg dish with olive oil so the eggs come out hole' If you don't you have to soak and scrub repeatedly.

Let’s start with my confession that I HATE kitchen gadgets. I don’t like clutter on my counters and I don’t want to haul contraptions out of a closet. That said- months of weight watchers means we eat a lot of eggs. Hard boiled are the most flexible for different meals and can be made ahead. I have tried every urban legend out there on how to make the perfect easy to peel egg. They all lie. THIS little machine however does not lie. We have been using it for a month and have made hard, medium and soft boiled. We used the poach and omelet features as well. If you like traditional poached you will probably be disappointed. I myself am not a fan but use that setting to make soft yolk cooked eggs without a shell which is genius! Easy to clean, quiet, and quite small so easy to tuck away. One tip- it’s better to use filtered water because tap water can leave some mineral residue in the tray once the water has evaporated. Enjoy!
