Q: If I try to move the table by lifting by glass will it come away from the legs

The glass is secured on top with screws. So technically no. I would say when moving it though to be careful and lift the top of the wooden ‘legs’ to make lifting generally easier. I’ve loved this product so far - looks much more expensive than the price!
