Replaces SD Card with SSD!
Got this as part of my project to set up a Pi 4 8GB as a web server and media server. Now I boot from a 500GB 2.5" SSD I had laying around. This module, in conjunction with the X725 Power module and matching Geekworm enclosure allowed me to set up a good-performing, compact, cool-running server. Easy to install and configure. (Warning: The USB connection to the SSD via the card causes interference with any Bluetooth or WiFi connections. WiFi was not an issue for me because I'm using an Ethernet connection. I was able to solve the Bluetooth connection issue by using the metal enclosure mentioned above, then connecting a 6-inch well-sheilded USB extension cable from a USB port to a Logitech Unifying Receiver. As long as the enclosure is completely closed, I am able to connect to a wireless keyboard/mouse. The metal enclosure MUST be completely closed or interference still occurs.)

Good product - works well
Little fiddly to install but once I got it it was fine - fat fingers and tiny screws. Fits perfectly into an old stripped out PC shuttle case with appropriate mounting holes drilled through the base and a jury rigged backplane to access the ethernet and USB ports, etc. Works well. Very happy with it

I do recommend this
This was part of a raspberry pi I was building, that’s the case I needed to fit all this in was on indefinite back order so I had to return it.

Excellent product if you know what you aredoing

Arrived unusable
Did not have the USB Bridge in the box, so can't use, also needs a non-included wall-wart power supply. The screws and spacers are not metal as shown, they are nylon. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING THIS ITEM.
