Love the large print. Quality of cover as well. Would recommend it

This edition by Zondervan is a gorgeous, and well made Bible. The print is very large, the cover is soft, with ribbon markers, and also red letter. It's compact and a little chunky, but great for the price.

The Giant print compact NIV Bible is the same depth as the NIV large print study Bible (2") but is smaller and lighter to carry. I wish this version came in 'thinline'. When/if it ever does, I'll buy it and pass this one along. The thinline Bibles have very thin delicate pages that some people feel are too 'see through' but I really like those light thin whispy pages and have never been bothered by vague shadows of letters on flip side of the pages. So I wait. I believe this compact Giant print Bible would be significantly thinner but its definitely NOT a deal breaker for me. This compact Bible lays flat, has room for notes in the margin and is easy to read. I highly recommend it. I bought the large print NIV study Bible for home use and the NIV giant print compact Bible to carry with me. I've compared them in photos so you might more clearly see how their sizes compare. The study bible is large and heavy. I take it to small study groups but it is my primary study Bible for home. I LOVE it. It lays flat, has amazing cultural intros, study notes, images and maps. I'm writing in the margins and highlighting personal favorites.
