Wouldn’t work on my 2001 LX470. It has the necessary brass collar however it was still too small to fit snuggly into the gear sleeve

Saved me a ton of money just replacing the motors...
Works in a 2000 4runner and probably other older Toyotas. You just crack the case of the locking actuator and put the new motor in with the old grub gear.The doors lock better than they ever had.

it looks like it will fit 98 lexus es-300
I didn't buy this one. But looking at the picture I should it buy this one. The brass collar will save me a lot time and trouble try to remove the original collar.

Good so far
Installed on 2001 LX470, no issues so far. Doors unlock/lock again in hot weather. I hope they last because it’s a pain in as* to take everything apart.
