My doctor recommended that I add a Vitamin D supplement to my diet as a positive mood enhancer. This product from ILK Company is good quality he told me. The pills are easy to swallow. I have noticed a difference after taking this product for several months. I often take more than what's recommended on the bottle, but I am doing so under doctor's orders. I suggest always consulting your doctor before beginning or changing a vitamin regimen.

I have used this product by ILK Company for 6 months and last week I had a comprehensive blood test. The doctor was pleasantly surprised at the level of vitamin D in my system. She said it was excellent, and, as a matter of fact, the best she had seen. Vitamin D3 is really essential to me and especially when it is this good of quality.

I ordered this because one person reviewed it said there was only one other ingredient listed. Upon receipt I discovered that it has: Hypromellose (provides time release of drug, but I could not find any studies for side effects except ones listed for use in artificial tears and I can't take a chance on those side effects) and it has Micro Crystalline cellulose (refined wood pulp), and titanium dioxide (also in sunscreen and says inhalation should be avoided). It says non-GMO and most people I know who avoid GMO's wold lso avoid these ingredients for digestion purposes. I will be returning this product.

Did nothing for my mood or sleep

Although I have been exercising more and getting outside much more, I still need more sun my doctor told me. Since I've bought other ILK products in the past, I did not hesitate to buy their Vitamin D3 when my doctor recommended I start incorporating Vitamin D3 in my daily routine.

My doctor recommended I start taking vitamin D specifically in 5000 IU concentration to bring my vitamin D levels back up. I was a little hesitant since I don't normally take supplements, but this "Shine On" is small, flavorless, and easy to add to your daily routine - plus, the bottle is fancy! I need more testing time, but I do feel a bit more back to normal already.

As one who focuses a lot on my health, this Vitamin D3 was what I bought after quite a bit of research. I called them up and spoke them on the phone and they happily told me about their products and their development. Great customer service which was reassuring.
