Good for PA diy arrays
Works great on the thin dollar store foam poster board. Plays music much louder. After that demo, the exciter got separated from the foam board. Like someone mentioned earlier use good adhesive for the exciter to stick to. Had it hooked up to my custom sub box with speaker output. For comparison to conventional speakers aka box speakers the exciter’s work and better clarity. I just ordered another one and I’m sticking them on the poster board.

Why don't more people talk about these. Best musical surprise ever.
Thank you to the y##tbe search that showed me the dml speaker build. I had been looking for new speakers for my gaming pc and was able to use these exciters and 2.1 amp to make some. Spent under $100 total and they sound great. Got some xmp 24in x 24in panels and rounded the edges off. Sanded everything down. Painted one side and mounted the excites following the 2/5 and 3/5 rule. Used eye hooks, fishing line and command hooks to change them and was good to go. Some instructions will tell you to seal the surface of your panels with a glue and water mixture but I did not do this as I did not hear this stripe mentioned in the Tech Ingredients video everyone talks about. The $100 spend includes a subwoofer I got at my local thrift store as the bass is lacking on the smaller foam panels I used.

Great driver, adhesive a bit weak
This works great as the driver for a set of DML speakers I built. The spider legs aren't desirable for this, so I cut them off. The adhesive isn't very strong- they fall off the boards. I wound up needing to peel off the original glue as much as I could, and then apply a hot glue to get them to stick well.

FUN for kids AND adults. Amazing!!
Get the 25$ amp from Amazon and a little spool of speaker wire and teach the kids how to splice wire and turn any rigid object in the house into a magnificent speaker. Just check out the video. Amazing. I have 100$ speakers that don't sound nearly as good.

Item Sold as New. Sent Item was Used and Defective
The exciter was sold as new, but when I received the item it had been already used. One adhesive pad was missing, the center adhesive was gummed up from something it had already been attached to, and the back of the exciter was very abraded. I have started the return process, and will simply purchase elsewhere.

it seems to be a good item
I have not tried to make a speaker with it yet just because I am waiting for a suitable bors to make it with. So for now this review will have to do
