I work security and thought they looked cool. 15 miles and the rubber on the heal and toe separated from them. Really comfortable, great for riding, not for walking or running though

Q: How durable is the shifter pad? I’ve worn out the tops of several left boots.

The pad on the black ones are rubber like a tire. It wears very well. The brown is leather, and I haven't worn it riding much. I've been riding an HD trike, with the heavily knurled shifter.
