Fun once you get the hang of it.
I now have several of these. This one worked right out of the box, but some leaked. The bottle is bulletproof, but the lids are plastic and sloppily assembled.I recommend buying a couple. They only make 860ml of carbonated water (it's a liter, but you need to leave room at the top). You don't want to run out mid-cocktail.I also recommend buying a spare lid. I had good luck with this one:KOUPOURA Soda Siphon Replacement Lid, Black Bottle Cap with Pressure Valve for 1 Liter Black/Red/It's hard to see when it's filled properly. I measure out 860ml with a measuring cup. I also found that using cold water before charging gets the best/most carbonization. It's better if you let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours before use to dissolve the co2. So, it's really helpful to have a spare. For flavor I add 1/10th of a teaspoon of Potassium Citrate that I ordered on amazon... it's an essential mineral and an electrolyte too.I get similar results with my soda stream, but using a soda siphon to shoot sparkling water into your drinks is just fun!Cheers!

Honestly, it will stop working for you after a while.
Just bought Innovee Soda Siphon on Amazon. Wasted 3 co2 cartidges. As soon as the co2 cartridge is punctured, the gas comes rushing out of the nozzle and then the bottle empties out after it. This happens while the lever to release soda water is NOT depressed. I tried adjusting O-rings, changed-O-rings, but nothing works. Is essentially useless.Update: The manufacturer contacted me. They read my bad review. They apologized, refunded me completely, then immediately sent me a new one for free that works great! I'm totally in love with it and will buy another. I updated this review from 1 star to 5 stars for great customer service.2nd update several months later. Since the replacement one worked so great, I bought another one. Which worked great for a while. Then it started having problems. First, it wouldn't totally empty the bottle. by the time the CO2 ran out, there was still several cups of water left in the bottle. I lived with it, just opening the bottle and manually pouring it out. But then, the CO2 started not filling the entire bottle. When charging the bottle, some CO2 would escape from the nozzle, without my depressing the lever to eject anything. That got worse and worse till the point that the CO2 cartridge will not charge the bottle at all and 100% of the CO2 escapes out of the nozzle while charging the bottle. So, this bottle is useless. I gave up on it and just used my remaining bottle. But then, it too started have the same increasing charging problems. As of today, neither bottle works or can be charged. So I give up. I wouldn't buy another bottle or recommend this product. Was a great concept, but after dealing with 3 bottles of theirs and all 3 not working, I don't think their product is very good.

If it leaks, you're probably just overfilling it.
The product is fine. I was worried about the reviews concerning leaking, and had the same problem. Untill I watched a how-to video. The shorter tube is for measuring. You need to use ice-cold water, only fill it about 2/3's of the way through, and shake it for about 10-15 seconds. After that, the carbonation level was fine and the leaking went away.

GREAT, but LOUSY instructions.
The Innovee seltzer bottle is a great product with some of the worst instructions I've ever encountered. There is contradictory information on the box and in the text sheet inside, to the point I contacted the maker to clarify it all. They did so, and have promised to rewrite the instructions, so good luck. Meantime, the two-pronged fork that comes with it is to remove the rubber-like thing in the neck so you can more easily fill the unit with water. They never tell you that. Then the instructions state to use the black plastic CO2 holder and after ten seconds remove it and put on the aluminum one. The real answer is to use either of them and leave the thing on for at least ten minutes. There's no harm in leaving it on until you need to refill the unit. The maker wrote and told me there's no difference between the black plastic charger cover and the aluminum one, but there is. The threads of the black plastic one fit tighter. Until that one breaks I'll use it to open the CO2 charger because it seals better and might keep more of the gas in the bottle. I leave it on there all the time and the gas charge stays nicely in the bottle at least a week.Screw the charger cover down until the gas goes into the water. Shake the bottle well for maybe 30 seconds. Leave it set for ten minutes and it's ready to go. You might want to shake the bottle after you use some of it. This seems to help put some of the gas back into the water. Leave the gas-charger cap on forever. Or you can take it off and put the neat little cap on to protect the gas valve. It's not supposed to leak backwards, but I don't trust it.The Innovee unit works very well. It's a delight to not have to deal with grocery-store plastic bottles of fizzy water that goes stale after a few days. The gas cylinders bought in bulk are less than 50 cents each, and one lasts me maybe a week. So a year's seltzer is less than $25. I bought the Leland 8-gram gas cylinders.

Not very user friendly
The internal piece that is the straw that draws the water up is a two-part plastic item that regularly pops apart when inserting the CO2 cartridge, causing the CO2 to fail. That happened about 1 out of 3 times. Also, there is no way to know exactly how much water you are putting in and if you’re a single Tbs over the max (which is NOT the top of the bottle), then the CO2 just blasts out of the top, which again, happened about 1 out of 3 times. There was A LOT of wasted water and wasted CO2 cartridges until we finally just bought a different item, which I love.
