I buy a bucket of this every year and number/date them so i know which one to open first.Buy 3x the amount you think you’ll need. Bec if something bad happens you’ll use this and it’s wise bec your removing the stress of preparing meals with limited or no resources. If you can boil water your ready to eat with this.I buy 25lb propane cylinders 3 at a time and collect them up and get them refilled bec you can cook for a long time on a barbecue grill with a side burner and setup an outdoor kitchen in your garage or patio. If your calamity happens in the summer you won’t be heating your home.Pay close attention to the labels looking for preservatives and high sodium. If your back up food is awful in quality and taste your not doing yourself or your family any favors. Good Food in rough times equates to happier more productive people. You can’t really have too much of this.My goal is to have enough food to feed 6 grown people for 6 months. I don’t forsee anything lasting more than that. LORD WILLING!

Be aware that these are multiple portion packages with pre mixed powdered seasonings and sauces that CANNOT be portioned. Once opened, be ready for 8-10 portions of leftover meals. Also, no meat. I wouldn't buy again.

This rating is a free-be. I am not going to open the bucket except in an emergency or in twenty-five years to check longevity.No, I do not expect the selections to taste great. None of the other brands I have sampled taste anywhere near as good as the companies boast.

It looks like quality stuff but, the serving sizes are pretty small. A half cup serving? More like 38 servings per bucket. The reason I purchased this is because it doesn't contain trans fats like most other brands.
