I am just joking. No house was burnt down while using this product. I use it to do an abundance of things. They make it easier to light candles when the candle is to low in the jars. Starting the wood stove to stay warm instead of matches and even lighting up a cigarette because I am gross and smoke =/. I really just prefer torches over regular lighters. However, I am not sure if I received a defective product in this case. The lever for it seems as though you can push it all the way across the front to pick how powerful the flame is. Mine only seems to go half way. Finding a safe level is not the easiest and I feel as though I need to fill it up much more often than the one I was replacing. You need to be extra care when filling it and ensure you release the air. I have done this on numerous occasions but after filling this torch always seems to shoot a line of butane and a large flame a half dozen times before it settles. Work in progress. I will say that the torch being made of metal and the simple trigger is way easier that messing with any plastic torch I have ever had. The design and look is cool and sleek. I will just need to waste a little butane before getting a hang of it. I will never buy another plastic torch ever again.

I bought this torch 8/21 & I still have it 6/22. It's still going strong. Never had any issues. Works when I need it to, even in cold temperatures. Knock on wood but it's been functioning the way it was designed to for almost a year!! This is my daily dabber!! Worth the price paid. Convenience store torches don't last this long. Would purchase again.

I ordered this to use for lighting fireworks. My husband has gotten me torches in the past but they either have to stay lit or you have to relight them each time. I burn my fingers using a regular cigarette lighter & the long kitchen lighters are unreliable.This torch works much better because it lights itself when you press the button. It stays lit until you release the button. Your fingers are kept well away from the spark. It ignites pretty reliably, it lasts a long time, & is easy to fill. I ordered a second one to have for next year for whomever is helping me light the fireworks.

The media could not be loaded.  Love this torch it's smaller but still just as powerful as a bigger one. The only thing I don't like is when you refill it it spits and spudders for a while after

There is much to like about this torch. I did not purchase for food but for resin. It definitely helps to take the bubbles out. I have been able to easily adjust the flame.The little hiccup that I have is sometimes the flame stays on after I release. I am still adjusting it and it seems to be helping. I don’t believe it is a product malfunction but a user malfunction.I would highly recommend

I held off writing this review until I used it for a bit to be sure.It's sturdy, well made and heavy duty. It's survived several trips down onto a tile floor with no damage and it runs just as well on the cheap butane as the expensive stuff.
