Fully working and in pristine condition upon opening. Each light requires 2 AA batteries (not included). I have the grey set and they look really pretty on and off in my honest opinion. Great to have underneath the TV, when watching something in the dark. Look very pretty in natural light during the day too. The remote makes them easy to turn on and off and I particularly like the candle setting. Love the way you can combinate, or use a different size in other rooms. I opted to keep all together as a full piece and this appears to be the best aesthetic and best for the remote. All in all, I would recommend.

I bought five of these as decorations for my wedding. My mum has severe asthma and avoids open flames, including lots of real candles, so I wanted to make sure she would be comfortable. They looked lovely on the day and created a cosy atmosphere without any smoke or scent. After the wedding, I kept one set and my mum got the other four for her church and home. They are really nice to have on in the evening and feel really cosy.

Obviously the candles are fake so unless they are switched on, they don’t look realistic in the daytime (hence 4 stars not 5). However when it’s evening time and the big lights are off and the candles are on, I think they look really lovely. The gentle flicker is relaxing and the brightness control is a welcome addition. They give off a nice light. For use in the evening, I’m very happy with them.

I have bought something similar before but thought this candle set looked even nicer. I was not disappointed as I love this set. No worries about setting things on fire even though the candles do look very realistic. They really do look very pretty when lit and they give off a cosy glow. Love the remote as you can set it to go off any time without worrying about forgetting to switch them off. I have the grey coloured glass and it is lovely. The only thing is the glass does show finger marks very easily but even so I still love this set of artificial candles and they do look very realistic when you switch them on.

They look quite nice and classy BUT the flickering flame is far from realistic. Rather, they brighten and and dim, almost flash like but softer. Im not sure yet, but I may return them as Ive bought much more realistic flickering candles on here for a better price...

Man muss nicht ständig die Batterien wechseln, was nicht nur praktisch, sondern auch kostengünstig ist. Das Licht, das sie abgeben, ist zudem angenehm warm und natürlich, genau wie bei einer echten Kerze. Les bougies sont jolies, mais sont livrées abîmées, avec des rayures sur la partie en verre. Retour non pris en charge par Amazon, le prix du retour depuis la France est de 23€. Pour des bougies à 46€ ça ne vaut pas le coup.
