AS DESCRIBED AND AROUND $12.00 CHEAPER THAN THE LAST ONE I PURCHASED THAT IS A GOOD DEAL IT SEEMS TO BE OF GOOD QUALITY FOR THE PRICE I BELIEVE IF YOU USE IT IN WITH MINIMAL SPEEDS FOR THE FIRST COUPLE OF USES I BELIEVE YOU WOULD NOT HAVE ANY OVERHEATING PROBLEMS THESE TYPE PRODUCT'S TAKE A LONG TIME BREAK IN FOR THE ELECTRIC MOTOR TO LOOSEN UP SO BE PATIENT AND USE IN SHORT BURST AND I BELIEVE YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH THESE TYPE OF PRODUCTS.

Better than expected.
Good value for the money. Definitely not a heavy duty tool. If you're looking for a cheap sander for your DIY home projects, you can't go wrong with this one. Love the table sander feature with the little clamp to hold it to the table. Very useful and works really good. Comes with a bunch of cheap(low quality)sand belts. If belt is not properly adjusted, it will slide in and eat through the plastic.

Great Value
While not the top of the line, the cost versus product quality is amazing.

Good bargain belt sander
I seem to go through a lot of sanders - this is probably the fourth or fifth one I've had in the last few years. In the past, I've trended towards the pricey brands, such as DeWalt, Makita and Bosch, but I'm realizing that there's not a big enough performance difference between them to justify the cost difference. My last Makita was a wonderful machine, but it cost over five times what this Eastvolt unit costs - and it didn't even last two years. This experience, over and over again, leaves me thinking that if I'm not getting some major performance or longevity benefits, then I might as go with low-priced "disposable" brands and just accept periodic replacement as normal. With this thinking in mind, I was eager to try the Eastvolt.Out of the box, the Eastvolt seemed like a reasonable design...it's fairly solid, though not up to the level of the premium brands. It does feel okay in your hands, and it seems to have a little less vibration than some of the other brands I've used...after a big project, I don't feel like my hands are clenching a hive of bees. Plus, using the included clamp, you can pretty much transform it into a stationary belt sander, and this is a great option to have for smaller, intricate work. It's easy to operate, including changing and aligning sanding belts. I found it to be adequately powerful, although I did note that in sanding some hardwoods, it tends to get warm/hot around the motor, especially if you're using a coarse grit to remove a lot of material. The Eastvolt has variable speeds. I found the low speeds to be perhaps too low, but the higher speeds are okay for most things. Still, it doesn't seem as aggressive as the big-name brands. Could be that the issue is the smaller belt - this unit has a 3x18, versus the 3x21 on my last unit...no doubt that makes for longer sanding times for a big area. But the bottom line is that the project I finished with the Eastvolt was no different from the results I've achieved with other brands. From this perspective, I'm happy to give up my Makita's, Bosch's and DeWalt's, and save about 80% in the process. If you're like me and you'd rather put your money into the tools that make a difference in the final product, then saving a bit on your belt sander seems like a no-brainer, and this Eastvolt product is worth a look.

Eastvolt 7 Amp Belt Sander
Great belt sander, especially in that it can be turned on its back and clamped to the work bench and act as a table sander. I find that the low speed setting is best. The tracking adjustment is trial-and-error, but once set the belt does not wander. And the extra belts are a bonus.

Only use will show its value
Works as it says. And lots of belts make it with the price right off the bat.

Buena herramienta pero no la puede usar cualquiera
Tuve que hacer una limpieza con aire comprimido porque el aserrín entraba a la maquina y dejaba de prender
