Originally I wanted to buy a direct projection device and hadn't even considered a short-throw one. When the missus pointed out our room was too small for a direct projector to produce a decent sized image, I started looking at short-throw devices and settled on this one.This was a cheaper alternative to the direct throw version I was considering. It has been excellent, producing a large, bright, clear image on the wall it stands next to. The connectivity is good, connecting seemlessly to our wi-fi enabled NAS drive. We can watch TV on it, but only the HD channels look ok.Although it has probably been surpassed by a more up to date model by now, it is still worth adding to any short-list of projectors you may be considering.

I've had no problems with this projector when mated with an ALR screen. Slight problem with rainbow effects for some people myself included.

The picture quality is poor quality and the seller refuses to help other than palming me off to Samsung. I'm sure the technology is great just the service from Box the seller is really poor.

Really pleased with this projector. Whisper quiet. No noticeable lag playing games. 4k looks great.

The image and colour reproduction quality is top notch. However, it has a serious problem of turning itself on at random times like 3 am which wakes me up while sleeping! Also, its software is so laggy and the response of remote control is often sluggish. Samsung rep has no idea why and was shamefully unhelpful. I'll probably return it.
