I bought this after reading the 5 star reviews and was excited to get a fan that was quiet and effective. It arrived with a 2 pin US plug instead of a 3 pin UAE / UK type plug. Then i had to separately buy an adapter, then i plugged it in and it worked for about a minute before it stopped working so i returned it and am awaiting a replacement. UPDATE: 17TH JUNE 2022: I SPOKE TO HONEYWELL SUPPORT IN THE US JUST NOW AS PER INSTRUCTION MANUAL. THEY SAID THIS PRODUCT IS NOT DESIGNED TO WORK OUTSIDE THE US. THEY SAID I SHOULD RETURN IT. NOT SURE WHY AMAZON.AE IS SELLING IT OR WHY IT HAS SUCH GOOD REVIEWS. MAYBE PREVIOUS 3 PIN VERSION WAS AVAILABLE BUT THIS IS US 2 PIN. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME.

Bought this product only to find the plug is USA type and not for UAE (3 pin plug). Used an external adapter for the USA type pin and heard a fuse sound. Doesn’t work and imitated return. Be careful when buying this.

This fan has 110V US specifications and hence not suitable for use in AGCC states

Awesome product!!!!! So quiet. Love the different levels of settings and the remote is great 👍🏼...easy to turn off without having to get up to manually turn off.

I had purchased Honeywell from Target in the past and thoroughly enjoyed the item so I bought this to replace it. This item arrived dead, no fault of the shop so 5 stars for the merchant. Honeywell in my experience are quite durable and mostly quiet. I don't recall a dimmer feature for the bright lights on the front but the remote was always a nice touch when I could find it. On level 1, 2 or 3 my old one hums loudly, vibrates and makes a lot of noise is why I was replacing it. It does a good job circulating the air but the noise level is a pain and is very disruptive. I ultimately replaced my older model Honeywell with a Pelonis 16" oscillating model PFS40D6ABB that I am very happy with.

Vale lo que cuesta. Es el mejor ventilador de torre o pedestal que he conocido, super silencioso en velocidades bajas y potente si se requiere más viento. Si fuera a comprar más ventiladores esta sería mi opción. Su sistema para regular su altura es diferente y muy firme y baja o sube gradualmente, los materiales son de altísima calidad. Nada que ver con otros que se dicen silenciosos.

Very quiet, and I like the array of speeds! I ordered this same fan June 2016, and it still operates, but this year I have to sometimes give the blades a push to get it going, and I consider that a wonderful investment of the $50 I paid back then. So I looked and at first I got the tower models, but they were ineffective and seemed to lose power as they ran, in only 2 days both were sent back. I then looked further, and found these, same Quiet Set Oscillating Fan I had before, and I got 2 of this year's version. I was very pleased with the upgrades made - a wider, heavier base, a place ot keep the remote stored, and a pneumatic sort of operation to raise and lower the height. I really like the options to tilt the fan and also to have it hold in one place. It is NOT like the chintzy type generic fan sold at Wally world.

So quiet for our bedroom. Perfect for White noise
