Jackson: The Sons of Dusty Walker

Good story!

I was looking for something to read and was offered this gem. I like the story and loved the characters.

Jackson's dad had four sons by four women and was married to a fifth. Since he didn't want to be like his dad, Jackson ran from relationships. Forced to spend a week at his dad's place he decided to have fun with Rori. After the week it's time to say goodbye and head back to the rodeo but he's not sure he can say goodbye. Sweet and simple, this is a steamy romance.

This is the first time I have read by this author and was very impressed with her. The writing and plot were great. The book kept me interested and enthralled. I didn't want to put it down and didn't unless I had to! Excited to read the rest of this series and other books by this author. Kudos and a book well written!

Jackson is one of the sons of Dusty Walker. Into the mix comes a gorgeous computer genius in the form of Rori! How will she complicate Jackson's life? Will he stay in the small town or go back to his previous life? Can love overcome all his doubts about his future with his half brothers? This book has hot sex and a great ending! It is definitely a must read for this summer!This is the second in a series of 4 books. Each half-brother has his own book. Each book is written by a different hot romance writer. The other three writers are: Sable Hunter, Desiree Holt and Jodi Redford.

It's week two and now the second son is stepping into Dusty's business and house to meet the stipulation of the will.Jackson has known since he was 15 that Dusty was married to another woman that wasn't his mother. After spending so long hanging onto every word Dusty spoke, but no more. He runs off and decides to join the rodeo circuit and thus starts his career as a rodeo cowboy.Rori can't believe out of all the sons she has to talk to she gets the one she already holds a grudge against. But when she first sees him she can't deny the instant attraction.After his week is up Jackson was so convinced he'd sell off his share and get back to his regular life. But the feelings between him and Rori are too strong to ignore. Can Rori help Jackson see the good his father did, or will his past hurt prevent them from moving forward and having a future?

I like the premise of this storyline with the four sons of Dusty Walker discovering the truth about who their father really was and that they have brothers to meet. Dusty Walker was quite a character and as proven in the end quite a wiley one. He wanted his sons to carry on his name and his business and he set them all up to accomplish this. Fortunately it ends up that some female persuation helps accomplish this outcome.Randi Alexander has brought two delightful characters together in Jackson and Rori. The chemistry between the two is almost electric and I found myself cheering on their relationship during the entire book. I highly recommend this book.

This is the 2nd book in The Sons of Dusty Walker series, read book 1 ~Dylan~ first (reading order is by name in alphabetical order).The second installment in the series is not disappointing. The story picks up after Dylan spends the first week in Red Creek where the four brothers have to fulfill their obligations of their fathers will, which is where they learn of each other's existence. You can feel the emotions of the characters as if you know them personally, the grief, confusion and the anger turn into belonging, happiness and peace. Oh don't want to forget the HOT chemistry between Jackson and Rori.....WOW.Highly recommended...now for book 3 ~Killian~ Enjoy

Four sons who din5 know about each other and then their father dies. Quick little read, instant kind of love with a story attached to it. Good read.

Who is not going to read and like this series with a front cover like that. Loved it.
