Great for high schoolers
I purchased this book for my daughter to learn coding. The author made everything very easy to follow and understand. Great investment for future coders!

Too Many In-Line Links
The author chose to place hyper-links directly in-line rather than use footnotes. This decision results in increased difficulty when attempting to read the book. For example, it seems that every paragraph early in the book has links to external resources or products, each listed with a full URL within the text. It's nearly impossible to read without your reading flow "interrupted". Not sure I can continue reading, may have to put this down.

Too much technical
Not for dummies at all! Too much into technical programming

Not at all for dummies
I was looking for a simple overview of machine learning but this book was opaque to me. The first question a dummy like me would ask is, "What are some simple examples of how machine learning works?" Instead the book spends about a hundred pages on how to set up machine learning on your computer. Another hundred plus pages are spent on statistical methods. Finally at the end is a single real life example involving product recommendations. You can look at this web page to see the state of the art there. After reading 260 pages of this book, I gave up with the sneaking suspicion that machine learning is an academic fad that will run its course in a year or two. But don't mark my words, after all, I'm a dummy.
