Is this a secure cap? my tank is empty!!! i’m disabled and need a cap that cannot be casually opened. i already have a locking cap!!

Horrible quality. Broke off in the first week.

Can’t remove the cap! I turn the key 1/4 ccw like it says and still won’t come off! How do I get it off?

Sometimes I can't get my gas cap off and I use a pair of pliers with rubber handles to loosen it. Then I wipe off the inside of the cap with clean paper towels and it doesn't stick until weather gets much colder again. Rubber on the pliers makes sure there is no electrical contact with gas tank or any metal on car.

I see it fits 99-02 4runners. Are 96-98 not included just because of age? Id imagine its the same cap? Does anyone know if it wouldn’t work?

I ask Auto Zone before buying and they will give you that gas cap number, you can match it to one from Amazon,

Does this fit a 2022 toyota tacoma sr5?

Not.It fit on my 2021 4runner but got stuck and i end up taking it into the mechanic.do not buy this item.i don't recommend it
