Before I invest in a custom elbow brace,I wanted to test the concept on my occasionally fussy dog. Despite his reservations, it didn’t take long for him to get accustomed to wearing it and it seems to help stabilize his weak leg. Unless a vet can convince me a custom brace will make a much bigger difference, think I’ll stick with this one. Wanted to include a pic. The boy just won’t sit still for the camera. 🤦🏼‍♀️

This item really didn't work out for my dog.It was past the return and I sold it to somebody who could actually use it for their dog

She didn't like it at first but..... she actually wore it all day w/o any problems. If it bothered her in anyway she definitely would have let us know. It also came b4 expected

Overall, this product does what it is advertised to do. I think for smaller dogs that aren’t big chewers, this would be amazing. I have 2 110lbs + Dobermans, and unfortunately, it only took one bite to tear through the thin support strap that runs across their chest. I think with some training/getting used to, I could avoid this all together, but it would be nice to see a slightly thicker and more durable strap. 1 bite lifespan doesn’t really work with larger dogs who like to chew. Ordered a second of these and hoping it lasts a little longer than the first. I will not be buying a third if I experience the same thing.

Seemed okay at first, fit fine and dog wore it around the house with no issues. By the evening the front strap under the non-affected leg was torn and hanging by a thread, and the dog hadn’t even chewed on it.

It’s a bit thin for what it needs to do, but it’s better than nothing. Also, I think they should sell one for both elbows so we would not have to buy two separate ones. If one elbow is injured, the other one usually needs to be protected as well. Otherwise not bad, the dog didn’t mind it too much.
