Very durable and coated very well to protect the paint on my bike

If I had to do it over I would try to get the exact same thing except maybe longer because I am paranoid of bike thrives so I like connecting my frame and back wheel to the bike racks, and this does not do that, but the cable is decently sturdy (on the ticker end of bike cables I've seen) and a good length to tangle up my wheels if I'm only locking the frame to the rack.I (and likely anyone else who has ever left their keys at home or in the car) love that this lock needs to have the key in the unlocked position to lock it together, so if you forgot your key at home you can't accidentally lock yourself out of using the bike that you need to use to get back home.The rubber where the lock and U meet has good contact that is probably fully rain proof ("probably" just because mine is usually indoors when it's raining), but can very rarely get inverted (like a pinched oring) to leave exposed metal, so just check when you're closing it if you expect rain and care about that. The orange sliding cover for the keyhole is more of a splash guard than a water proof cover (it would be honestly very hard to make a sliding water tight cover), so I always lock it with the cylinder facing down if I'm worried about rain at all.The rubber coating over the full U-lock and the cable costing both seem pretty robust and so far (I've used it for a few months now) weathers well and is soft enough and thick enough that I never have to worry about it scratching my bike.

The media could not be loaded. So far, so good - mounted the bracket with screws in the back at first, this was a mistake- you need them on the side to properly fit the lock. You’ll see my mishap in the photo and proper attachment completed in the video.The plastic-covered steel cable came with Velcro attached which was convenient. I wound the cable around my seat post and attached with the Velcro to the luggage rack (but you could easily just wrap it and hold securely around the seat.)It is medium weight, not flimsy yet not a zillion pounds, either. The U-lock attaches to the bracket through the lock mechanism itself (you don’t snap it in place, but unlock, slide the keyed-part in, attach the u-shaped part, then lock it).I think the u-lock around the back wheel with cable around the front wheel and through the frame will be a great deterrent for would-be thieves. Glad for purchase and will update review if I have any new info, overall, I definitely recommend at this point.

Great bike lock, I love that it has the lock and the loop to go through the tires. One drawback is the loop is barely big enough to secure both the tires on my standard size bike, but it is possible. It works great though and feels very solid and secure, and comes with 3 keys for the lock.

After 2 years the rubber spilt, but all in all my bike is still safe and sound!

I like how sturdie it is as welll it feels very securited as well the weight is not to bad

Fits well mounted on my seat post and seems very durable and sturdy. I use it to lock up my scooter to bike racks or street signs and have never had any issues!

All the pieces were included the material is pretty sturdy, installation was straightforward and the size is appropriate for most bike racks. I have had no issues with the lock or bike theft.
