Best umbrella
The best umbrella I have ever owned. A colleague turned me onto this brand; he raved about it and he was right. Blunt far surpasses others I have used over the years. Sturdy and easy to stow in the small size. For urban use it is the perfect size. And importantly, no more worrying about the wind blowing an umbrella apart and lasting only a few uses. Great color choices, too.

Great commuter umbrella.
Really great little umbrella. Tough, lightweight, and aesthetically designed. Worth the money.

It's not push-to-close
Weird that an $80 umbrella isn't push-to-close.

I don't understand the rationale behind the poor quality. I have written to Blunt USA and ...
The shaft snapped off. A board feel on it as it was lying open on the floor but the shaft is made of light weight plastic. If it had been aluminum or some other metal it would have been durable. So is it really worth the price if it is that fragile. Cheap $10 umbrellas have a steel handle. I don't understand the rationale behind the poor quality. I have written to Blunt USA and asked them to replace the item and have not heard back yet. I don't know if it even matters. Buyer beware and bear the risk.

Great umbrella.
I'm very happy with this umbrella. I love the blunt edges. Since I live in NYC, I don't have to worry about bumping into people on a crowded sidewalk. I wish everyone in NYC had one! It's also light and small enough to fit into my pocketbook. Opening and closing the umbrella is very easy. Though it's more expensive than a drug store umbrella, hopefully it will last a lot longer! I've actually ordered two (one in orange and one in green) - so that I will always have one available.

Great, sturdy umbrellas
Second Blunt umbrella I've purchased (after foolishly leaving mine at a bar). I can't say enough good things about these umbrellas. I'd have spent this money three times over in broken drug store umbrellas.

Pretty let down by this umbrella so far
Pretty let down by this umbrella so far...Only had the chance to use it once in heavy rain and the joints seem to be a solid build. The canopy is definitely too small. I'm petite and this thing barely covers me completely. I think it's fine in light rain but in a down pour it'll only keep your head dry. It's kind of pointless to design a wind resistance umbrella when it's too small for heavy rain. The "metro XS" size is not very compact. This thing is pretty big compared to my other collapsible umbrella. So not only does it take up extra room in my bag, it doesn't provide adequate coverage. The handle is too small. Every time I close this, I end up opening it by accident again. This happens about 80% of the time. Again petite person, so small hands also. It's extremely annoying and not fun to deal with during rush hour. It's as if they sacrifice a bit of the handle length just so it can be "XS". It didn't do much for the size of this "compact" umbrella. And it only has an automatic open button function, not both open and close. I don't understand why compact umbrellas don't have a both open and close function. It should be the standard at this point. The design is unique looking at least.

If it fails they replace it
Best umbrella I have owned. Used it for 4 years and one of the canopy pieces broke in a thunderstorm gust. Contacted Blunt and they replaced it. Excellent product and superior customer service.
