what diameter are the brass connectors? whats the smallest drill bit I can get away with using?

I wouldn't bother the brass connectors fall off atnthe slightest pressure

Can this be used to feed Ethernet cable?

Hi, These should be fine as they are designed to aid the installation through voids so if the rods pass through then the returning cable will follow as long as it is attached securely and can pass through any small spaces the rod fitted through initially. It will also depend on the flexibility of the cable so if you have a stiff cable then it would be preferable to have a second person feed the cable whilst the first person pulls the rods to prevent snagging Thanks.

What are the thickness of these rods please?

They are about 3mm but are terrible quality. I would avoid to be honest

How does the cable attach to the end of the rod. Is it like Magna mole magnetic or something

Use electrical tape to attach the cable to the end of the rod or use one of the attachments with a eye to tie an inner core to the rod then tape over the top for a smooth finish.
