These are OEM ear cups... They're what came from the factory on your headphones if your model sits in the number range in the description. They easily snap in place of the Originals, that melted with age, on my HD212Pro's... The sound is just as good as I remember...Here's to another 20 years!!!

Excellent ear pads for my old, but still great sounding Sennheiser headphones. If you’ve never tried to replace ear pads like me you can find video instructions on YouTube. It’s a little tricky to do, but if you take your time like the instructions say they fit solid and feel great!

These seem way too expensive for what they are, especially in comparison to the myriad grey market options. But, aside from the trusted brand name, these seem to be the only ones that include the plastic frame, pre-installed. That makes installation of these a simple matter of prying off the old ones and snapping on the new ones.There's no need to try to stretch a new set around the loop, so it is able to have a tighter, less sloppy, fit.But still ... These are an embarrassingly high percentage of the cost of a whole new set of HD-202s. That's just crazy.

Whenever I order something from a third-party reseller on Amazon, I'm a little concerned that the product isn't exactly as described. That was not the case with this item. These are genuine OEM Sennheiser replacement earpads. They are as good as the originals that came on the headphones.I own the HD 497 -- the earpad and headband cushions started disintegrating after about 10 years of use, leaving black specks all over my head.These were fairly easy to install though instructions would have been helpful. I highly recommend these if you want to get more life out of your beloved Sennheisers!

So far, so good. The ear pads fit perfectly, and after reading "Michael A Telfordon November 13, 2013" review on how to install, it really was easy. The pads just pop out and snap in. They look like the original and after I replace the headband, my HD497's will look like new. BTW, Amazon doesn't sell the headband, so I ordered one off of eBay. Shipping was quick too! I recommend!

After trying 3 tries I'm ready to quit. I ordered these correctly, according to the model numbers on my headphones. These Earpads were cushioned but too small and even if they had been the right size, there was absolutely no way to to attach them to the headphones!

These replacement ear pads appear to be same as the original pads. I cannot tell any difference. They are a bit tricky to install and no instructions are provided. I located another review to determine how the old pads are to be removed and new pads are installed. It is easy once I figured that out. The downside is the pads are a bit stiff on the ears. I would prefer softer pads. I also would like a replacement head pad also. Overall a good purchase and my head phones look new again.

Worked perfectly for my Sennheiser HD 212Pro headphones. They are getting old but work like new except that the original foam pads were cracked and flaking off on my ears. The new pads snapped right into place and in less than 2 minutes it was like a had a new set of headphones. Best of all, no more black flakes on my ears from the old pads!
