What is the difference in these and Theives, and could they be used through out the night every night for acid reflux?

I am not sure about the Theives .... I do not know that product. I know that the doTERRA OnGuard dops numb the throat. As for the Acid Reflux .... My husband used to suffer from that until he started sleeping on a slight incline.
