Wonderful Quality, Very comfortable, Great customer service!
These chairs are wonderful and comfortable. Really great quality as well. I purchased two and then love them so much I ordered two more. The Adirondack chair design was invented to lean back and take in the vista of the Adirondack mountains... and it's wonderful if that's what you are doing. The Plant Theatre chairs on the contrary, allow you to sit up a bit straighter making this a wonderful backyard conversation chair. Wide and comfortable with the fantastic feature of the curved seat front. This helps with folks who are shorter stature, but want to enjoy this lovely large seat.I will say, there is one assembly step that is a bit of a challenge if you are doing it on your own. So you might want a partner for the first few steps. after that... easy as pie. The parts fit very well, there is no 'fighting the design' at all. They fold beautifully and come with a lovely wooden pin to hold lock the chair when it's open. I misplaced some hardware and contacted customer service via email. I heard from them in a couple of days and my dilemma was solved and left me feeling well taken care of. I will buy from Plant Theatre again without question and I do highly recommend these chairs!!!!

THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!
The chair is a bit hard to assemble. The instructions are not good at all, best to look at a picture of the assembled chair while trying to decipher the instructions.Otherwise it is a very nice, comfortable and sturdy chair. And it folds away for storage. The customer service is the BEST I have ever experienced. Contact the seller and they WILL take care of you. I was missing some hardware and they were quick to respond and send it out. They also replaced the entire back rest of my other chair, no questions asked! One of the boards was starting to split and instead of sending just the one board, they sent me a brand new entire back to the chair.Wish the instructions were a little easier to make out, but it is worth it in the end.

Nice little chair
PROS: good price, quick delivery, quality nice little chair. They are comfy and make my back porch look very nice and classy.CONS: They are kind of smaller than I was expecting and sitting low to the ground. The advertised relaxing part does not apply to putting them together. There are few steps, one would think not to complicated.... but the instructions are awful, hard to read, small text and drawings. Found an instructional video, but still hard to see what you supposed to do. I have ordered total 4 of them, in one of them holes did not aligned, and some were not drilled all the way trough, and being my first chair out of 4, it was very frustrating because I did not know if I was doing something wrong. The other 3 were breeze. I have changed the order the steps 1 and 2 from the instructions and it made easier to put it together.IN THE MIDDLE: since these chairs supposed to be foldable, they have moving parts, which gives them flimsy feeling, I am not crazy about that, but I understand the concept. Now I don't think they will fall apart, but just feel wobbly.Overall do not regret.

Utter junk
Update, The wood is brittle a seat slat broke. I weigh 190#, so I'm a bigger guy, but not obese. I'm glad it happened to me instead of a guest. They'd have been humiliated. Also, they are finished with a colored topcoat that is flaking off and exposing bare wood.Update. I did spray them with Thompson Water Seal (clear) and they look great. Much better than directly from the box. It should increase their life span too.First; I like them I bought a pair and I might buy another pair. I had concerns because a couple of reviewers complained about the comfort, but I think they feel wonderful and they have a very classic look to them.I have previously built a pair of Adirondack chairs from a pile of cedar planks that lasted over 15 years. I bought these so that I could use them sooner than if I built a new pair from scratch and also because these fold for storage. I consider my woodworking skill at 7/10. I also would rank my problem solving at 8/10. That said, I did have some assembly problems:1) On one chair the "arm support wing" had a glued in dowel that was too long. That dowel's length exceeded the depth of the blind hole in the front leg and split a chunk from the leg as I tightened the Allen screw. I disassembled , glued and clamped the broken piece back into place and sawed 1/16" off of the offending dowel and reassembled 40 minutes later. The lesson here is to dry fit the parts and listen for any cracking sounds as you tighten the screw.2) One other inconvenience, that has a statistically very low probability of happening to you, was a flaw in the wood that made it difficult to place the captive "barrel nut", in the paddle arm assembly support. An assistant had to hold the nut in the proper orientation with a Phillips head screwdriver while I started the Allen screw.Other than that everything fit together perfectly and no parts or tools were missing. The instructions are adequate. They have IKEA style pictures, but also includes a written description of the operation at hand. It is also nicely supplemented by a stop-action assembly video on the Amazon page for this product. It took about an hour per chair. Tip: there 4 small washers that are much easier to work with if you tape them over their corresponding hole in the wood part. Don't tape over the washer's hole, just the flat surface surrounding the hole so that you can still easily insert the Allen screw. My criticisms are:1) The wood, though hard, is very brittle.2) The oil finish is too thin and poorly applied, the wood grain is seems too exposed to the elements. I will probably solve that by spraying mine with Thompson's Water Seal to give them some more protection.Watch the assembly video, read the instructions through first and go slow then join me out back for a glass of chardonnay.

Good Quality and better custimer service
Excellent chair, attractive and comfortable. THere was a problem with a wooden piece on the back that was not manufactured correctly. I emailed Plant Theatre well after normal Buisness hours on a Friday and go an immediate response. The replacement was expediated to me at no charge. FInished assembling and very happh with the chair. Every manufacture will have problems - that is to be expected- but Plant Theatre handled it exceptionally well and for that I am greatly impressed. Good service and a Good product - what more can you ask for.
