Yes. It does have a count down timer and a countdown repeat timer that i use as a nurse to remind myself to do things. The entire watch is easy to set up. Ive bought this watch since ive been 20 and im 41. I also like the band material since im allergic to all the rubber type bands. Excellent, well priced watch. Enjoy.

Yes, mine came with a Velcro band. I have a very small wrist that is why I prefer a Velcro band. I am very pleased with my watch. As a matter of fact, I bought 2.
