These are premium, real and thick cowhide shoe laces for a GREAT price! I own lots of pairs of deck shoes that have rawhide lacings of various colors. My cats think that the rawhide laces are a chewy treat, so I purchase a lot of rawhide. Many products are a rip off because they are not real cow hide and/or they are thin and flimsy. But THIS product is very excellent. I was very pleased with the price and the fact that these are nice and thick and they are REAL. And they are a very good price! And when you buy long lengths, you can cut off just exactly what you need, And this helps to eliminate waste. YES! These are an excellent value!

Good stuff for what I wanted

I used this leather cord to make a crocheted raffia hat size-adjustable. It did the job fine and seems very sturdy; my only complaint is that it has a very strong and unusual smell out of the packaging. I guess it's probably normal for leather to be treated with something or other, especially if it's dyed, but just be aware if you're sensitive to smells.

It is real leather. Smells great. It is a little too thin if you want to use this in a fantasy role playing. Use a thicker strap. It got us where we wanted to go.

Perfect material and size for handmade wooden walking stick.

I bought this thinking it would be a less expensive alternative to the shoelaces sold for boat shoes. It's OK for that purpose, but not great -- it's thicker and less pliable than what you'd really want for laces -- making them more difficult to tie. For other purposes it's probably excellent.
