I’ve been using the Casio AE1000W for months and it’s exceeded my expectations. It’s simple, reliable, and packed with useful features for the price. The 10-year battery life means no frequent battery changes, and the world time function with 48 cities is great for travel or tracking time in different zones. The display is clear and easy to read, and the 100 m water resistance lets me wear it while swimming and in rainy weather without worry. It also has a stopwatch, countdown timer, and five alarms — all easy to set and use. The design is straightforward and functional, not flashy, but perfect for daily wear. The resin band and case keep it lightweight and comfortable on the wrist. If you want a dependable digital watch that does exactly what it’s supposed to — at a budget-friendly price — this Casio is hard to beat!

This is an amazing watch. I used the same watch for 15 years and in 2025 I bought it again after the older one was damaged due to some aggressive chemical. I live in the East Coast of the US and I have friends and family in different parts of Europe. I regularly check the time over there. I use the timer for when I am brushing my teeth. I use the stopwatch when I brew coffee. I use the alarms for my daily short walks and to wake up. I had to remove two sections of the strap to make it a good fit for my wrist. You may need to do that as well. All around it is just an excellent watch. Casio is of course amazing with quality. I would recommend it to anyone. I know smart watches are getting more and more common but trust me, one less device to charge regularly is a better improvement in your life than anything else.

What a great travel watch for less than a McDonald’s run for a family of 4. Easier to use than a GMT and quartz means it will always be ready no matter how long it’s been sitting (up to 10 years). Like round watches.

A great version of a classic watch.

I have been purchasing Casio watch products for over 25 years now. Their watches are low cost and nicely designed. I was not let down when I received this watch and all for 18 dollars. The watch is nice looking, has mostly usable features which fulfills its purpose. For a watch that costs under 20 dollars this is a great knock-around piece that can be worn in any setting. Whether hiking/climbing in the woods, fixing the car, swimming or just plain rough housing with my kids, having a low cost and functional watch that fits all my needs really makes this product a great buy. This Casio comes with several functions: 1) You can track up to 4 different time zones. Since I do a fair amount of business travel (about 1x a month), I am constantly in different time zones. Now I can set them easily. 2) The watch has a manual DST setting which I don't mind. It's literally a push of a button. 3) It is water resistant to 10 Bar. This means swimmers, surfers, etc... can use this watch with confidence. 4) It comes with a typical alarm. I always make sure I know how to turn this off, because you know somehow some 2 or 3 year old will get it and find a way to turn on the alarm so that it wakes you and 0200 in the morning. 5) Stop watch. Not much to say here. I use it for running/walking Cons: A couple of oddball design features that are difficult to see. 1) The upper right hand circle is actually a visual of an analogue watch, so that if you look at another time zone besides the one that you set for your home city, you can get a quick view of the time. Not so easy to see. 2) The time zone characterization is also difficult to see and not so sure it is necessary, since the back of the directions lists out the cities you can use to select the proper time zones. So this may not be a "smart" watch which seems to be very popular these days, but I will say the price makes it very worth while. If you need a knock-around that looks nice and has the core functions you need, I think you will be very satisfied with this product. You know... maybe some things don't need to be smart. Enjoy!

This is a replacement of the same Casio watch model that lasted 9 1/2 years and traveled all over the world with me. The triple time zone is great as you can set home time, time where you change planes, and destination time. You actually can have four zones if you use the little dial for home time. I replaced the battery in the original one after about 7 or 8 years. This time I picked the gold face that wasn't available 10 years ago and replaced the vinyl band with a gold Binlun band. The golds aren't the same, but when you're wearing it you can't really tell and it looks really nice.

I'm a bit of a dinosaur. I use a watch to tell time. I don't always carry a phone... and I have no need of a so-called "smart watch." I just need to know what time it is every so often. This model is a reliable brand, water resistant, and comes with a 10-year battery. Bingo! At this price, the purchase was a no-brainer. I have no need of the tiny time zone map. And I'll use the digital dial only a couple of times a year. But it gives me the day, date, and time with four preset time zones. *That* feature, I'll use, since I do travel some. I only need one alarm... and I'll rarely use a chronometer or count-down timer. But, better to have a feature you don't need than need a feature you don't have. Bottom line: I got a watch from a reliable company for a genuinely excellent price. It's light and comfortable on my wrist. And my friends will be impressed when they see the overly busy face. And, hopefully, I'll know what time it is for the next 10 years.

Für diesen Preis ist die Casio vollkommen in Ordnung. Die Uhr ist leicht und läßt sich dadurch angenehm tragen. Optisch finde ich keinen Mangel, die Anzeigen sind gut abzulesen und die Bedienbarkeit Casio typisch selbsterklärend. Sehr schöne günstige Digitale Casio Uhr, m.e nur zu empfehlen.

恥ずかしながら、8年以上前に購入した商品についての今更のレビューです。電池は一度も交換していませんが、しっかりと動作しています。ライトも明るく点きます。この品物の良さはコストパフォーマンスの高さに あると思います。細かな機能は商品紹介を見て頂くとして、まずは軽くて見やすいところが気に入っています。他の方のレビューを拝見しますと、ベルト交換で苦労された方が結構いらっしゃる様ですが、私は電気工事の傍ら時計の電池交換やベルト調整等の仕事をしていましたので、それほど苦はありませんでした。値段が安いので仕事中に使うのにピッタリでした。でも、キズがつくと惜しいと思う程気に入っていました。
