time will tell as I dont use it very much. And it looks better than the one I replaced but it will depend on how well the bearings hold up.

I have an older Kirby and when I tried to vacuum last, I discovered the roller was covered with hair and when I removed the roller, it fell apart. The bearings were shot. I found this one on the website and received it yesterday. Very fast delivery. I installed it and began vacuuming. The new one works great. Hopefully it will last. The body of the roller looks like wood, which I thought was cool. I gave it 4 stars because the last roller I bought was $14.95 The new roller was $10 more than the last roller I bought, and they are both Kirby branded rollers. That said, If this one lasts, I will probably buy again.
