You get a plastic flapper valve and a toilet fill valve. Installation is not particularly difficult if you have basic skills.One of the features I do like on the flapper valve is you can adjust it. You will appreciate this when your toilet, because of the inadequate flush, clogs up every time you turn around. No problem, adjust the flapper and the toilet will flush almost like the ones of old. And as I saw in a review a while back, the poop police aren't gonna come and beat down your door. They haven't done that to me so far. On the fill valve, where the little rubber hose connects, there's a roller style clamping valve that will allow you to adjust how much water is sent to the toilet bowl. Do this correctly and you won't waste any water.I've had this for just under 2 months now and so far, it is working with no problems. Ask me how it's doing in a year and I'll be able to give you a better idea on durability. I thought Korky made good fill valves until the thing started going through seals every 6 months to a year. Hopefully this Fluidmaster won't do that. Oh, and if you do need to replace the seal on the Fluidmaster (which you will have to do at some point), it's very easy to do, unlike the Korky which requires a gorilla to get the thing apart.

some items one has to stay with a given name brand- this is one of those. never fails , ease of install.

Replaced a failed fill valve in Gerber toilet. Installed in about 10 minutes. Easy to install, easy to adjust. Quieter than original unit.

It was easy to install and seems to be working fine. However, I am dismayed to find that the large piece of plastic packaging has no recycling symbol on it. Fluidmaster: Please change the packaging to something recyclable such as PETE, or better yet cardboard.

Just what was needed. At the time of purchase, these were on sale. It's always a good item to have on hand.

My toilet tank was refilling every few minutes due to the degradation of the the previous flapper. I only used the flapper from this kit. My toilet has a 3" valve seat and I was able to replace the old one with this one in about 5 minutes. It was super easy to install and when I use the flusher it was easier to press down compared to the previous one. I would definitely recommend on that alone.I have yet to use the toilet fill valve, I will update if i do end up using it. The toilet fill valve looked sturdy.The package itself arrived the next day with prime, no damages to either flapper or valve kit. I looked at the toilet fill valves and and the flappers individually but buying it in this kit made it cheaper.

WE LIKED IT AND IT WORKED FINE. BUT IT WAS CHEAPER TO BUY IT CLOSER TO HOME.

Perfect fit for an American Standard Compact Cadet 3 FloWise toilet (1-piece, single-flush, elongated bowl). Fill valve was an exact replacement. After 6+ years the original fill valve hissed and whistled during tank filling, and replacing this part completely resolved the issue. The float seemed to be too tight against the tank liner, until I "read the instructions" to properly adjust the fill valve height.

This was one of the easiest installs I've done, everything was plug and play. The unit is fairly quiet compared to the older designs. No idea how durable it will be but so far so good.
