These Izod shorts are awesome. They have kind of a rubberized waistband on the interior that catches your shirt and helps keep it tucked in (if that's what you want). The material seems to be well-made. I've had pairs of these shorts for several years, and they've held up great (no holes, no lost stitching, no fading color). I have a lot of different brands of shorts, but I'd say these are my favorites. With regard to colors, I think the khaki and the light grey are best, as both match with many shirt colors.

Overall, these are great shorts for the price. They're well made and they fit as expected. I have purchased these multiple times over the last couple of years in various colors. There is one really odd thing about the gray ones (I have purchased twice). The gray ones are made with the rear pockets sewed shut. The pockets are there, fully formed. They are just sewed closed so they are inaccessible. Why anyone would spend the time and extra materials to create pockets and then sew them closed makes no sense. But if you take a razor blade, you can cut that one line of stitches on each rear pocket, and you'll have normal pockets. Again, it's only been the gray ones, both times that I purchased them, maybe a year or so apart. Weird.

Shopping around for golf shorts can be frustrating, depending on your size. For me a 30 was tight and 32 was too big, and most were more than I wanted to spend anyway. Then I found IZOD's golf shorts, odd numbered sizes at an affordable price! I bought a couple to try out and the fit was perfect and they were very lightweight, comfortable and breathable. I liked them so much I now have a pair in all five colors. The tacky strip on the inside of the waste band is nice for keeping your shirt in place too. I don't know why the back pockets are sewn shut but it is no big deal to rip the stitch out. Sure you can go with the big guys like Adidas, Nike, UA, or Puma, but when IZOD shorts are just as good and only $21.99, you're just paying for the name. Use the money you save buying these shorts to play a round. :D

True to size and the waste band does NOT stretch. I wear a 33/32 and the shorts fit perfectly. Someone wrote a review about them not having back pockets. That is NOT correct. Golf shorts and pants typically have the back pockets sewn together but all you have to do is cut the thread and you’ve got back pockets. If you’re new to golf, you should know that it’s normal for the right rear pockets sewn together to be sewn shut. It’s simple to cut the threads though, so that’s what I do. FYI

I ordered IZOD Men's Golf Swing Flex Stretch Cargo Short, R. Khaki (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D3SC6SYQ) and IZOD Men’s 9.5"Micro Poly Classic Fit Golf Short (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IE0LT9Y) both in 36 waist. Both were actually 38 waist (measured). The Swing Flex is so stretchy that it was effectively even bigger. I ordered the Swing Flex at 34 and the Classic Fit Golf Short at 35 and both those fit correctly. Initial orders are being returned. Nice shorts, but not close to the size indicated.

I just received my IZOD shorts today and as soon as I got them, I tried them on and I was very pleased. The fit was perfect. The length was perfect. I like shorts that just fall right at the top of my knee and these were just right, easy to move around in They have a small band on the inside waistband that I assume is there to help your shirt stay tucked in. I will definitely be ordering these shorts again in a different color. I’m 6 foot weigh 230 pounds and have always usually wore a 44 waist, but these 42s fit me perfectly.

Great stuff. Especially like the detail of the silicone-like grippy logo inside the waistband to help keep shirts neatly tucked while golfing.
