This was an OFF COLOR book. You can't just hand it to a kid and saw "Read it". The book addresses dark times in history, pop culture, and historical occasions. This would be a great book in a class room setting to teach kids to learn how to do research. This book tells PART of the story, but with group conversation encouragement to do research there is so much more to learn. This book can teach young people to read get questions and find the "Real Story". Loved it!

i absolutely adore this book but as i was scrolling through the reviews i found that all parents are giving bad reviews like not good for children and this is inappropriate but i don't think parents know that this book is supposed to be funny and it is completely appropriate for children likee me

Borrowed a copy from my fourth grade student and loved it. The story had a clever premise and was a great history lesson. I found it enjoyable due to some of the innuendos and humor that I guarantee went over the heads of my students, but they still found it fun to read.
