Beginner review
I bought this to replace the old one that was an off-brand and I was told by a professional at the particular brand I had was notorious for an autofocus problem. They suggested to go with a Canon version of it since I have the Canon rebel EOS. Very satisfied with this for taking pictures of my kids doing soccer and other outdoor action activities. This lens is not for low light indoors.

Not the greatest lens in the world…..but not bad for the money
I like having this lens in my bag. I think it would be handy for portraits at a distance. Have to be careful though, no image stabilization.

Stopped focusing after a few months
Received this in June, great shipping time. I needed it for vacation so got it in time. Its now October and just a few wks ago it stopped focusing on autofocus. It tries, and goes in and out but it stops and its no where near focused. Ive tried cleaning the metal sensor things on the lens and the camera. I have a smaller lens as well and it works fine. So I know its the lens. I cant return the lens now either.

Great Lens
This lens helps me take pictures that are at a distance. This lens is very helpful to me because the photos I take are always at a distance.

Bought for water skiing pics
Did really good. I was able to stabilize myself enough on the rocky boat to get some good pictures. Lens was perfect and did much better than I had expected. Looking forward to using elsewhere. I am not a professional. I just started taking classes for photography at a local university. So I’m not sure how great my words are but it did ship quickly and was in impeccable shape
