SMARTRO SC42 Professional Digital Hygrometer Indoor Thermometer Room Humidity Gauge Pro Accuracy Calibration

I brought one checked it via a salt test bang on 75% brought another same as bang on 75%. Very pleased with the accuracy, very easy to use & has a decent magnet to hang up. to verify if your meter is correct put it in a plastic container with a cap filled with salt add a very small amount of water to the salt so you can still pick it up & it doesn’t run, seal it properly leave it a full 24hrs and it should read 75% if not it’s out & needs calibration )

Easily set up and calibrated , accuracy excellent and brilliant customer sevice, After setting up I put the instuctions back into box which unfortunatly was thrown away. Contacted ustomer service by e mail and instruction download recieved next day . Highly recommend 5 stars

I wanted a more accurate device to show me the temperature and relative humidity on my boat in the winter months. I like the large, easy to see & read, digital display, also with bright illumination if required. The device correlates with other similar devices I have. I have also used it at home and would recommend this particular product versus lower cost alternative products.

Although difficult to verify, compared to the last one I bought seems to be close to the mark. Temperature sense is on point and all seems to be working

There is no way this is accurate nice show piece but its not fit for my purpose which was measure the humidity in the air as advertised

Best hygrometer I've had. Accurate reading boveda packs and salt test. Even better is this hygrometer can be calibrated if needed but straight out the box this hygrometer is spot on.

Cannot possibly work if there is NO PLACE FOR THE BATTERIES. My questions on this have NOT BEEN ANSWERED

I compared this (~ £20) Smartro to ThermoPro and the £630 Wagner Orion 950. ThermoPro was off by 5% and has no optionto be calibrated, so it got returned. Smartro was also off, but by a little, but it also have a calibration function! So I manually calibrated the Smartro 3% down on humidity and 2C° up on temperature. From there on it had the same measurements as the 50 times more expensive top of the range true professional humidity meter. Ordered another 3 for my business.

I use it for keeping my acoustic guitars at the right humidity levels (40~50%) which need an ajustable calibration offset controls (use humidity pack for control reference). Works fine and nice to have a readout backlighting when needed… (Cheaper hygrometers have no controls and can often be inaccurate up to 10%…)

He tenido muchos de estos y este es muy preciso, además se ilumina al moverlo, vale la pena el dinero q vale.

Working great so far and I’ve had for a few months now. Accurate measure and backlight is very bright but not blinding. Great display and easy to read.

Ottimo igrotermometro. Alla fine ne ho acquistati tre…. Dopo averne resi due di altro produttore che non ho trovato affidabili e che non permettevano la calibrazione se non in un piccolo range ristretto, inutile nel mio caso. Mentre questo permette una calibrazione senza vincoli !!! Ottimo prodotto.

The product was shipped really well and quick. Overall, really easy to use, just need to install 2 batterys and its good to go. Magnet on the back is also strong, so it sticks well to surfaces. Only thing is that the display picture suggests that the sensor comes with a kickstand, which was not on the sensor when I got it. So if you're looking for something that has a kickstand, or can stand on it's own, maybe check with the seller first.
