Review: This review is for Apothia’s IF, White floral and citrus essential oil - Container is a large 7 ounce (200 ml) bottle with a rubber corked stopper. - Fragrance is heavy, masculine aroma and I have difficulty smelling any citrus. This smells very formal and elegant. - The packaging is elegant with the cardboard box having a fuzzy feel. Bottle/Jar is thick, gorgeous, and catches the light. The bottle also has this thick & wide rubber band running around the outside. It not only looks nice, but makes it easy to pick up and move the bottle. - A dozen reeds are provided that fit nicely into the bottle. One even has a decorative bead. - Product is made here in Los Angeles, United State. Review: This aroma diffuser arrives in a pretty box and, is very giftable. The overall look is simple yet classy. The glass base is a sturdy shape and has not tipped yet despite being on my counter several weeks around my rambunctious children. The wooden reeds are a perfect length and distribute the scent in a even and noticeable manner. The scent is a mix between sweet oranges and summer flowers. It is subtle yet consistent, it provides a light scent while not overwhelming the nose. I am impressed with how long the aroma last and stays the same.

This oil smells like ladies perfume. Amazing? No, but overall nice. I wouldn’t get another bottle when this runs out, though, especially for $90. You are essentially paying for the oil, as it’s just a plain glass jar and wooden reeds. The package was extraordinarily difficult to open. Took me a good five minutes and I had to attack it with a pair of scissors and I broke a nail. 3.5 stars.

These look nice. They don’t do much.

Very impressed with the way this arrived in a very nice and definitely gift-ready box just like a bottle of expensive wine :). Well packaged with a tampered proof seal both on the outside box as well as on the essential oil bottle itself. So this is a 200ml bottle, have to admit, this is my first time seeing a bottle of aromatic oil this huge. The bottle is also beautifully designed and thick with a very tight cork just like a wine bottle. The reeds are obviously very dry and ready to soak up this very pleasantly and sweet essential oil. I would say that the floral or Jasmine scent is much more noticeable than the fruity scent. It will take about 24 to 36 hours for the fragrance to fully diffuse, also by turning or inverting the reeds every now and then will help the process. But then again, in my opinion, the more you invert the reeds the more oil it will use or evaporate so may not last the full 12 months depending on a number of other factors as well. The initial cost may seems high but for a period of 12 months or 365 days, that's about $0.25 per day, here I go again with the math :). Overall, this really does freshen up my office for sure, very relaxing and calm scent not to mention a great decor as well !
