The Point of Impact (POI) Hanger assembly uses rope, chain or cable* to suspend the silhouette target. The POI Quarter Scale plate is plasma cut from 3/8" thick AR500 grade steel and is capable of taking thousands of rounds. Our innovative design does not have exposed welds that can be directly impacted. The (POI) Hanger does not use hardware or have any holes in the silhouette plate as hardware can fail and holes can allow for fracture points. The silhouette plate is free floating and the hanger assembly is designed so the plate is angled slightly downward to absorb more kinetic energy and deflect most fragments towards the ground. Optional accessories for the POI Hanger include: POI Vertical Post Adapter (P/N: POI-PST1000A)* – This adapter can be securely mounted to a vertical surface (ie a wooden post) and has a hook that will suspend the POI Hanger assembly at the correct angle in lieu of a chain, cable or rope. POI Portable Range Plate Adapter (P/N: POI-PRA1000A)* - This adapter allows the POI Hanger assembly to be suspended on the POI Portable Range system (P/N: POI-XPR1000C)* without the use of a chain, cable or rope.
