Delicious. This is the sexiness of an empowered woman in a jar.

This is a very nice scent. I know nothing about perfume, notes, dry down, etc. But, I like how it smells when I first put it on. And as it wears, I tend to like it even more. I'm not afraid of being "over bearing" in a crowd, with it on, yet it is a detectable smell. It's my first Tom Ford fragrance and I'm very happy with it. My husband really likes it on me. And hey, I enjoy a quick sniff of myself too. Well worth the money. With my body chemistry, the closest thing I've every worn to it would be Oscar by Oscar de la Renta. Only Oscar is much more strong and tangy. Velvet Orchid is fuller, deeper, more subtle and sits better on me. Oscar never really changed as it wore off. It stayed tangy just the scent got weaker. Velvet Orchid does change as it wears. Wish I a better way to explain it. If you can find a store that carries this, I think it's worth the time to try it. I'm glad I did.

I've never had a fragrance quite like this, kinda citrus like, but with depth. I truly like it.
